What is Microchanneling? If you are considering a treatment to improve the texture, tone, and elasticity of your skin Procell Microchanneling is a perfect solution for you. This procedure is suitable for all skin types and is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. Procell’s Microchanneling device uses filaments made from surgical-grade steel, small enough to fit into a hair follicle. This TGA-registered mechanized stamper creates thousands of tiny, clean controlled skin injuries called "Microchannels. These channels are designed to deliver beneficial ingredients, such as peptides, growth factors, and cytokines directly into the deeper layers of the skin. This process also stimulates collagen production, resulting in skin that is smoother, firmer, and more youthful in appearance while minimizing damage to the epidermis for faster recovery. How Does Procell Therapies Microchanneling Stimulate Cellular Activity? A single Procell treatment creates hundreds of thousands of microchannels. In response to each micro-injury, an inflammatory healing process begins which initiates the formation of new collagen. Over time the repeated healing process begins which initiates the formation of new collagen. The repeated healing process improves the surface texture and overall appearance of the skin. Procell Microchannelling is a unique well-researched treatment for skin rejuvenation with numerous benefits including: Stimulating the production of Collagen, Tightening the skin Improves the appearance of Fine Lines & Wrinkles Reduces the appearance of Crow’s Feet, Lip Lines, Forehead Lines & Frown Lines Improves Skin Tone & Texture Reduces the appearance of Stretch Marks Reduces the appearance of Surgical Scars Reduces the appearance of Large Pores Restores Sun Damaged skin and treats Hyperpigmentation and Melasma Improves the appearance of Puffy Eyes Improves Rosacea by Strengthening the skin Reducing Acne & Chicken Pox Scarring Helps increase the absorption of Medical Grade Skincare products Reduce Oil levels in the skin

How does the MD Serum with stem cells and cytokines work?

Procell creates a biological interaction between damaged cells and healing cytokines. Our bone marrow contains mesenchymal stem cells. These contain DNA hardware to work towards wound healing, fighting disease, and rejuvenating skin. The cells excrete proteins called cytokines, which are like little packages of information.

When the microchannelling creates a small injury in the skin, stem cells report to the area (or, in this case, are applied to the treatment area) to heal. Cell receptors in the injured area connect with the healthy cytokine into the damaged cells. Let the healing begin!

What is the difference between Procell Therapies Microchanneling and Microneedling?

Procell Therapies Microchanneling is often described as Microneedling Evolved. The stem cell-derived growth factors that maximize results distinguish the Procell treatment compared to the traditional delivery serums used for Microneedling which are mainly Hyaluronic Acid, Brightening Serums and Salicylic acid which may not be as effective.

Procell Therapies Microchanneling also uses a stamping technique, less damaging than any traditional Microneedling techniques.  During the treatment, very small tips penetrate the upper layers of the skin (epidermis), creating small, micro-injuries. The "micro-injuries" are created by "stamping" vertically to create clean micro-channels instead of dragging or gliding across the skin. As a result no scratching or tearing of the skin occurs.

Procell microchanneling tips are 100% reliable, because each tip has a fixed depth.  Microneedling devices with adjustable depths are not always accurate. (Different conditions need difference depths of treatment.) Procell also has three treatment diametersfor optimised treatment coverage - 12 Filaments, 25 Filaments and 49 Filaments and are suitable for both the face and body whilst traditional Microneedling Devices only have one tip diameter of 12 needles
